Binary Odyssey Site is Finally Up!

Rejoice and praise to the digital lord! Gamers around the web world can get a beta glimpse of the site which will start a new movement in the game industry. As for other news, I am hard at work to get as much of the free games up, but bare with me because I am just one person. I also want to thank John from Washington, also an indie game developer. He was the first to show support by emailing me some questions, which I will answer right now.

1. Who came up with the [company] name?
  • I was the one who came up with Binary Odyssey.
2. What inspired you to come up with the name?
  • The name Binary Odyssey derives from my original name "Blue Odyssey", which has been the name I have had for years. As for that name, it comes from both my passion of programming and some of my favorite books, the Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer.
3. Where did the you come up with it?
  • The name Binary Odyssey and the original name both came to me when I was doing what I love to do the most, other than making games, which is playing them. So, while I was playing I would just space out and day dream about what my company would be called and how ubber sweet it would be.
4. When did the you come up with it?
  • The original name, Blue Odyssey, came to me around ten years ago. As for the official name, Binary Odyssey, I made it up in the beginning of this year. That is why I declare this year to be the year it was born.
5. Why did you come up with Binary Odyssey?

6. What am I gaming and what is my gamer tag?
  • I am currently gaming The Orange Box, Halo 3, Crackdown, Exit, Puzzle Quest, Army of Two and Madden 08.
  • My XBOX 360 gamertag is Fallen Angel718

So, farewell my fans and hope you like the beta site. Don't forget that you can leave both comments and send me emails with your questions and other tidbits. Plus, before I go, I want to thank my good friend Logan for proof reading this and making sure my English is in check.
